Calling all USA racers! Jettribe will be going to the World King’s Cup in Thailand this December for the third year in a row. Jettribe went to the King’s Cup for the first time in 2009 to scope things out and try to sell some gear. However, we soon realized that it would be awesome to take a team of riders over to Thailand to represent the USA. Last year, for the first time, we took a team of riders over to Thailand and they had a blast. The team, headed up by Tony Vo, consisted of Christine Milone and her husband Louis, Derek Correll, Jeremy Schandelmayer, Wilson Tai, Chelsea Schneider and her dad Gary, and our photographer John Cutright. This year we are looking forward to taking another team of riders over to Thailand, which is where you come in. If you are interested, please contact Tony Vo at tony@jettribe.com. Our team last year had a very eye opening experience going overseas and interacting with a whole new culture. The sites, sounds, tastes, and smells were all new to the team and they eagerly welcomed them with open arms. They saw firsthand how friendly and accepting the locals were considering we were Americans who knew absolutely none of the Thai language. The racing was also slightly different and the riders were excited to see that the TJSBA definitely rolls out the red carpet for the racers. At the opening ceremony there were many dignitaries and even live entertainment. What more could you ask for?
The King’s Cup will be held December 1-4. More details to come later as the date gets closer. If you are interested please contact us as soon as possible to secure your spot on the team. Please note, you do not have to be a sponsored rider in order to be part of the Team USA.
