[This will be my 2nd year traveling overseas for the Kings Cup race. I am truly honored to be representing the United States again in the Vet Open class. My teammates and I were very impressed by the hospitality that the people of Thailand had to offer to us last year, and really look forward to this year’s competition. Again, I will get the opportunity to share the field with a group of international riders ready to battle it out for 3 of the most exciting days of racing only the Kings Cup can offer. I am very excited that my teammates Jeremy Schandelmayer, Christine Milone, David Cabrera, Eric Lagopoulis and Rick Sherker and I will be competing for titles from the USA. We are all looking forward to this event!
This year has been exceptionally fun for me, not just on the race course but also off the course. As a Team Jettribe racer, I have had the pleasure of representing Jettribe as a seller of the products that we offer. Jettribe has really shown their support to all of the riders in our sport. After our week of racing, I will be traveling with Jettribe owner and founder Tony Vo to Vietnam to learn more about the business side of Jettribe. We will be visiting several different locations throughout Vietnam, but this in only the beginning. Next Tony and I will also visit some of the other factories in China to check out the latest and greatest items in production. I’m very blessed to be able to learn all about the business and production side, and this is an opportunity that will help me to promote Jettribe in the future.]

I am extremely excited for my return to Thailand to compete for the Kings Cup! Representing Team USA/Jettribe I look forward to bringing back the Pro Runabout 800 Kings Cup to the USA! This will be my 4th time competing in Thailand and with the support of Team Mean, Jettribe, Riva, Scott, Relaxzen, Seadoo, Promarine,Wamiltons, and Hydroturf I intend on winning! [As I complete my 5th year of racing Jet Ski’s, I am so excited to have an opportunity once again to represent Team USA/Jettribe Racing, at the 2011 Thailand’s King’s Cup – World Cup Grand Prix. After attending the King’s Cup in 2010 for the first time, no other race has compared since. The Country, the people, fellow competitors, and the TJSBA sanctioning, provided a great venue for us as racers. It was simply an amazing experience! The TJSBA’s professionalism and attention to safety are the best I have experienced.
The opportunity to race this year would not be possible with out the support of my sponsors, Jettribe, TialSport, Riva Racing, Champion Motorsports and Louis Milone. I will be returning with my Team USA teammates, Jeremy Shandelmayer, Derek Correll and this year David Cabrera, Eric Lagopoulos and Rick Sherker, are new and welcomed additions to Team USA/Jettribe Racing. I will be racing the Team Mean Racing/TialSport #696 open class prepared turbo-charged Seadoo GTI. This ski built by Louis Milone, has 400 horsepower and will be ridden by both myself and Jeremy Schandlemayer. “It is one very fast ski and will be one to watch.” ]

[With fifteen years experience racing, I'm thrilled at the opportunity to attend Thailands 2011 King's Cup - World Cup Grand Prix. Representing team USA/Jettribe is a great honor. I've traveled all over the United States and have attended the IJSBA World Finals several times, but have never had an opportunity like this, to travel overseas, have the chance to visit Thailand, and participate in what is known as the most prestigious race. The TJSBA and the racers from Thailand have had a huge presenence here in the United States at the World Finals and I'm very excited to compete in a TJSBA sanctioned event, with the Thai racers, and in front of the great people of Thailand.
This opportunity has been possible because of support from my sponsors. I'm proud to represent Jettribe, Riva Racing, Fly Racing, Full Spectrum, and Hydro-Turf. I will be racing my RSRacing #912 Open class ski. This is a ski I built utilizing a Bullet Generation 2 hull and a Kawasaki triple engine prepared by RSR. It has proven to be competitive.]

Preparing for Thailand King's Cup 2011

We cannot emphasize enough just how much Jettribe is stepping up for this year's Thailand King's Cup. We packed and shipped an entire display booth jam packed with merchandise to Thailand three months ago. Items include: Jettribe racing easy-up, chairs, banners, lights, retail display racks, international credit card process machines, and most important- over $20,000 worth of commodities. We really just want to make it our little home away from home. And it's all geared for a one-way trip. No returns allowed at this occasion!

Due to our good relationship with TJSBA and Motorfield of Thailand, Jettribe was the first to see the layout of the King's Cup race as well as the first to call dibs on our booth space! We are so stoked that Jettribe was chosen to be the official safety gear brand for the safety course marshal in Thailand! Jettribe is the ONLY Team USA that is sanctioned by TSJBA to officially represent this great country of ours. Go red, white, and blue!

Thank you Johnny at Blowson for stepping up and contributing to Jettribe's Team USA's traveling expenses to Thailand. We have so much gratitude, admiration, and respect for you! Companies like yours are what make our industry grow. Jettribe would also like to thank Hot Products for all their help in getting our Team USA to Thailand. You guys are amazing. We'd like to especially thank Scott Siato, who not only helped out with expenses, but is also going to be flying to Thailand just to hang out with us at our booth. What a guy! If only there were more industry companies that would do the same...

And last but not least, we can't possibly thank Sam from Motorfield- our local friend and distributor in Thailand- and his family enough! They are responsible for making our trip possible with in-country local support in so many ways that it's mind-boggling: airport pick-up, hotel stays, food, fuel, race pit accommodations, quads, 24-hour security for our boats at the race site, booth set up and break down... The list goes on forever!

Then, as if all of this wasn't enough, there is also the continuing countdown for Jettribe's first ever Thailand King's Cup fashion show! All the fun starts soon so stay tuned!

Team Press Release

The logistics of shipping our whole team to Thailand is mind-boggling.
We're flying people in from Washington D.C, California, Florida, South Carolina, and Vietnam.

It's a good thing so many people are coming because we need
all the help we can get to support our team and our fashion show.

Team USA King's Cup Thailand Pit Shirts

What's better than being a fan Jettribe? Being part of the Jettribe team! Not least of which because if you were a team member you'd be able to get your hands on one these limited edition Team pit shirts. These beauties are made out of a breathable material perfectly adapted for hot and humid weather, just like the kind you'd experience in lovely Thailand. Which is pretty good seeing as these will be shipped directly to Thailand and will be waiting for our riders at the airport!

"Back to the drawing board!"

That phrase is usually meant for when someone's plans end in failure, but here at Jettribe it just means one idea down and a gazillion more to go! We're so full of creativity that we can't stop ourselves! These words may only start out as strokes of dry marker on a whiteboard but with hard work and inspiration, we will never be satisfied with just "good" or "the best"- we will always aim up, up, and higher!

Thailand King's Cup 2010

Can you believe it's been a year since Jettribe Team USA went to Thailand's King Cup? Crazy! Where does the time go?
Last year we reunited with many members but got to meet a lot of new ones too!
Thailand is a beautiful foreign country- different yet familliar in some ways- but in the end everything comes right down to the best part: racing the jetskiis!
However, all good things must come to an end but luckily we do not have to say goodbye for long. Thailand's King Cup 2011 is coming up fast and we look forward to having another great adventure! Stay tuned because all the fun starts again next week!

Jettribe helmet collar tested by Vasilis Moraitis

Lately Jettribe has surprised the personal watercraft riders and enthusiasts with its unique and innovative products. One of its latest products is the illustrated helmet collar. According to Jettribe this particular accessory limits side and snap back motion during a fall from a personal watercraft while wearing a helmet. I...t is equipped with an elastic front and rear Velcro system that allows greater flexibility. The rider who uses a Jettribe RS-16 race vest can easily connect it directly on to it. The particular collar fits nicely around the neck, it is extremely lightweight and it does not minimize the neck movement at any direction. Possibly a stand up rider might have less mobility on its neck only when he/she leans too much and his/her body (and his/her neck) is in an extreme angle. But his happens only in the holeshot buoy or the first couple of buoys on a racecourse and it depends on rider’s riding style. When you wear it you do not feel it exists round your neck. Stand ups and Runabouts are very fast nowadays so give your self a brake and protect properly your neck. Wear Jettribe’s helmet collar even when you practice.

Jettribe rolling gear bag: Tested by Vasilis Mora from jetskiworld.gr

Features: High quality durable zipper, tough Dual skid rails, heavy duty handles, foldable anodized handle, stainless hardware and unique colors. Its dimensions are 17”W x 9”H x 28”L and it easy to carry due to extended, foldable anodized handle. Also, it features one extra plastic and two soft handles which makes it easy to li...ft it in order to place it in the rear storage compartment of a car or minivan or even to put it on a buss. The tough side wall construction is very useful since the gear bag does not get deformed under heavy load and the two built in straps secures it even better and the overall construction. The built in waterproof liner protects the outer shell from getting wet. On the bottom where the two wheels are situated there are also two plastic studs that enables you to rest it in vertical position which is very handy when you walk around the airport or the paddocks. The unique aesthetics will enable you to identify it easily at the airport or elsewhere. We had tested the new Jettribe rolling gear back for 10days in Havasu by using it every day and through two international flights including a week of testing back home, in Greece. For its reasonable price it is a very good product and can withstand lots of abuse. So next time you are thinking of buying a gear bag visit your Jettribe dealer and take a look at this product.
