Colonial Beach: An Honest Community

Our Jettribe rig has traveled through many cities and towns on the IJSBA and APBA tour stops. We always try to spend and support the local businesses as much as we can. All of our tour truck maintenance and trailer work was done on the road at the cities that hosted the races. Just to give a little back to the local business.

For the Colonial Beach, VA tour stop was not different, we stopped at a local tire place and had our tires looked at. They looked worn uneven. I wanted to buy two new tires for the truck just to feel better on the long trek back to California. But the local tire shop owner insisted that our truck tires are still good and they only needed to be rotated. They rotated all the tires around plus the spare also for only 60 bucks! I still wanted to buy new tires from him but he said that these are good tires still. Honest folks like this are what make our trips across America memorable.

In Southern California, where Jettribe is based, the tire shop would tell us that we needed to replace all six of our tires on our dually!
