Colonial Beach, VA Press Release (APBA National Tour)

Colonial Beach, Virginia is a small resort town that has a Mark Twain story book type of look to it. The town has cozy cottages, quaint restaurants, and rich United States culture. The people were so friendly and inviting, and they welcomed us as well as the racers with open arms. With restaurants right on the water and long rustic docks leading into the water the town is suited for honeymooners and made for a great race site. We were so excited to be there!

Wesley, one of the local racers, introduced the racing tour to the town. He was such a huge help. When we arrived the town blocked off a one way street for us to pull in and get set up. The weather was also great all weekend which made the races even more enjoyable. The site was absolutely great and the racing took place within 10 feet of a pier which was fun for the racers and made watching the races easy for the locals. It was also easy to get great meals everywhere we went in town, both on and off the race site. The Jettribe crew was also very fortunate to meet Captain Jesse Todd, a certified powerboat and PWC instructor for the Coast Gurad. Captain Todd will be recommending our gear during his instruction, so our gear will not only be promoted in racing but also by PWC instructors. How cool is that?!

We would like to congratulate our team riders who came out to this event, including Josh Block who ran away with some podium finishes over the weekend! Great job guys!
We would like to thank Patrick Mell of the APBA and his crew for putting on another great event, and we would also like to thank the town of Colonial Beach for hosting this event for us, it was such a blast!
