Harbor Beach, MI Press Release (APBA National Tour)

Rounds 5 & 6 of the APBA National Tour took place in sunny Harbor Beach, MI as part of the town’s annual Maritime Festival, which brought in hundreds of spectators! Some of the biggest names in racing travelled from various parts of the US to put on an awesome performance, including Dustin Farthing, Amy Green, Ryan Hardwick, Dustin Cherrier, Conrad and Cory Cole, Josh Block, and Jake Zier.
The racers tore up the unique track that is specially designed every year to wrap around the huge pier in order to give local spectators the best view possible of all the hot action. The locals lined the pier all weekend to cheer on the racers as they gave some of their best performances of the year.
And while the racing action was impressive, nothing could compare to the much anticipated Can-Am races that took place on Saturday night after the regular races were finished. Some of the best Canadian and American racers showed up to the starting line to compete in the Runabout 800 Open, Runabout 1200 Open, and Ski Limited classes to race for their country. The Can-Am racers had to endure between 15 and 20 laps of hardcore racing and the ski racers had to negotiate 2 log jumps. These obstacles forced the racers to prove their talents and abilities and it pushed them to the max.

Jettribe would like to congratulate the following racers on their podium finishes:
Runabout 800 Open: Russ Veverka, Kevin Rheeder, Jeff Cerveny
Runabout 1200 Open: Ryan Hardwick, Dustin Cherrier, Dustin Farthing
Ski Limited: Cory Cole, Ryan Zamler, Josh Block

The Can-Am races will be followed up by rounds 7 & 8 of the APBA National Tour in Belle River, Canada coming up on July 17th & 18th. Jettribe will be there with many of our team riders to represent and hook up racers with some of our awesome swag. Hope to see you there!
